Join Prince of Pumps (AKA Will Walker) for some fierce and fabulous New Year Jazz Funk on Saturday, January 17th, 2:30PM-4:00PM at Impulse. Live your best show stopping, parade-giving life as we explore beginner/intermediate jazz funk choreography. A blend of jazz, hip hop, and commercial dance styles, jazz funk is all about living loud and proud.
All levels welcome! Sneakers recommended. Let’s begin the year with every bit of sassy, sexy, and oh so stylish energy!
Known professionally (and infamously) as Prince of Pumps, Will Walker was born and raised in Austin, TX. Will began his dance journey at the age of eight with recreational dance in hip hop. With a hunger for more, Will was gifted an opportunity to excel in dance styles like ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and modern – all on scholarship. A former Impulse instructor, Will has nearly 20 years of experience teaching dance and over 10 years of experience teaching, performing, and choreographing Heels. It’s hard not to fall in love with Will’s playful and empowering classes!
