We offer a wide variety of dance classes for movers of all levels.

We’re all about providing adults with nonjudgmental dance opportunities, from beginning to advanced. We prioritize joy and community in our classes for movers of all levels, identities, and backgrounds.

  • Level 1 = Beginner level classes that are perfect if you’ve never danced or have not danced in a while.
  • Level 2 = Beginner / intermediate level classes geared towards dancers with some experience.
  • Level 3 = Intermediate level classes for those with several years of dance experience.
  • Level 4 = Advanced level classes for dancers with many years of dance experience. For the safety of each dancer, instructor permission is required for enrollment.

Yes, it's possible to strengthen and condition while having a good time. This low-impact workout provides the perfect balance of the strengthening of Pilates, resilience of yoga, and the grace of ballet. Barre Fitness is set to upbeat, motivating music with a unique total-body cardiovascular workout. This class is great for those who do not like high impact workouts but still want all the benefits of HIIT training. We use weights, exercise balls, bands, mats, and blocks provided by the studio to maximize every workout. This is a dance fitness class, which means it's structured as an accessible follow-along format.

Drop it down low to the hottest beats in this full-body dance cardio workout. No hip hop experience? No problem. Learn new moves through repetition and engaging choreography. Everybody and every BODY will leave this class feeling bold, beautiful, and badass. This is a dance fitness class, which means it's structured as an accessible follow-along format.

Contemporary Dance Fitness leads you through a dynamic and graceful combination of cardio, sculpting, and accessible choreography inspired by ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance styles. No dance experience? No problem! Develop coordination and musicality in a welcoming environment that celebrates you as you are as we dance to a playlist of pop, hip hop, and dance music. Easy to take at your own pace, Contemporary Dance Fitness is adaptable and enjoyable for every fitness and dance level. In here, it’s not about getting it right; it’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin and simply moving your body. This is a dance fitness class, which means it's structured in an accessible follow-along format.

Go clubbing but make it exercise! This high energy dance fitness class combines cardio and engaging grooves. No need for prior experience because you’ll learn new moves through repetition and no-stress choreography. This judgment-free zone keeps the focus on joy and movement while making your workout feel fun and effortless. MixxedFit® is a hip hop dance fitness program that incorporates dancing, toning, and booty shaking. In MixxedFit®, we work out to our favorite songs, and then we spice things up by adding boot camp inspired exercises to make our workout more effective and challenging. We keep the choreography simple and sexy so we can focus on getting lost in the moves and music. This is a dance fitness class, which means it's structured as an accessible follow-along format.

Our yoga class unites movement, music, and mindfulness to help you build balance, strength, and flexibility, both on and off the mat. Our Vinyasa style class welcomes beginner and advanced movers alike as we flow through a smooth, energizing sequence that connects breath to movement and leaves you feeling refreshed and re-centered. We explore postures that improve mobility, stability, and awareness while encouraging you to move with curiosity and self-compassion. Every class is a chance to release tension, restore balance, and reconnect with your body and mind. This is a dance fitness class, designed as an accessible, follow-along format that blends the flow of yoga with the spirit of movement and music.

Created by Colombian dancer Beto Pérez, Zumba® is an energetic dance fitness style founded on Latin dance and music. Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out. We take the “work” out of workout, mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® fitness classes are often called “exercise in disguise.” This is a dance fitness class, which means it's structured as an accessible follow-along format.

This ballet class is for first-timers, beginners, and those who want to explore ballet basics in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Ballet 1 guides you through different ballet positions, coordination, spatial awareness, and conditioning necessary for dancing ballet. We learn beginning technique through warming up at the barre and then move to the center of the room to practice combinations designed to develop balance, alignment, and fluid movement. Ballet takes practice, and the more often you attend class, the more confident you will feel. Ballet is perfect for developing strong muscles, posture, and a sense of grounding and calm after every class. No dance experience needed for this class.

This beginning ballet class is a great fit for those who want a foundational ballet class with some accessible challenges thrown in, as well as those who are rediscovering ballet after a hiatus. We explore different ballet positions, coordination, spatial awareness, and conditioning necessary for dancing ballet. We learn technique and warm up at the barre and then move to the center of the room to practice combinations designed to develop balance, agility, stamina, and fluid movement. Some dance experience recommended for this class.

Our intermediate ballet class provides a fun and inclusive space for you to push your ballet technique and enjoy exploring your artistry. Our goal is to help you feel strong and at home in your own body as we strengthen our alignment, coordination, agility through flowing movement, jumps, turns, and leaps. Previous dance experience is required for this class.

This advanced class welcomes adults with former ballet training looking to hone their technique and skills. This intermediate/advanced class includes barre, center, and across the floor to give you opportunities to refine your technique, experiment with advanced movement, and explore your artistry with turns, jumps, and leaps. For the safety of our students, instructor approval is required for this advanced class.

Pre-Pointe focuses on building foot, ankle, and core strength that is necessary for safe beginning Pointe technique. It is taught in a highly individualized manner in order to meet the unique needs of all students. To ensure safety and strength-building, all who enroll in Pre-Pointe must also enroll in Ballet. Like all our classes, all genders and identities are welcome in Pre-Pointe.

Not sure if Pointe is your thing? No worries: the exercises in this class are great for developing strength and balance regardless of whether Pointe is your goal. All are welcome, and we assess all students carefully for safety and strength before giving the go-ahead for wearing Pointe shoes in class.

Pointe classes push your advanced ballet skills further by strengthening your feet, refining your alignment, and fortifying your core. Like all our classes, all genders and identities are welcome in Pointe.

All who enroll in Pointe must also enroll in Ballet. Taking ballet before Pointe ensures that you're warmed up and can execute steps safely and with confidence. For the safety of our students, instructor approval is required for this advanced class.

Our beginning Modern class is a great fit for new movers and anyone who enjoys exploring foundational, grounded movement. Modern technique involves connecting your breath to your movement, working with gravity for momentum, and strengthening your spatial awareness through fluid exercises. A precursor to contemporary dance, modern increases your mobility and stability by bringing you home to your body. No dance experience needed for this class.

Want to learn technique and terminology, but not sure where to jump into dance as an adult? Beginning contemporary is an excellent starting point. Contemporary is a feel-good dance style founded on self-expression and exploratory movement. It blends modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and more styles as it provides countless opportunities to interpret music and movement in your own way. In addition to growing your artistry, this class develops coordination, stability, and agility. Class starts with a warm up, and then you learn accessible contemporary technique and put it all together in creative choreography. This class is perfect for those of you who are new to dance and have always wanted to explore soulful, personalized movement. No dance experience needed for this class.

Ready to explore your creative side and deepen your understanding of movement? Contemporary blends many styles of dance for an inventive dance experience that plays with modern, jazz, ballet, and hip hop movement. This class will strengthen your sense of coordination, balance, and agility through beginning and intermediate technique that involves turns, extensions, and floorwork. We’ll start with a warm up, practice technique, and then put it all together in engaging choreography at the end of class. This class is a great fit for those with some dance experience or those who are returning to dance after a hiatus.

Take your contemporary skills up a notch in this intermediate level class with some advanced steps. The class includes warm-up, center work, and combos that give you opportunities to refine your technique and explore your personal style with turns, leaps, and floorwork. Through exercises and choreography, you’ll be challenged to express yourself with agility, strength, and artistry. Previous dance experience is required for this class.

This is a fast-paced advanced class that blends multiple styles of movement as we refine contemporary technique and artistry through strength, musicality, flexibility, balance, and agility. The class features challenging technique and opportunities to push yourself through floorwork, acro, leaps, turns, and inversions that rely on strength-building and risk-taking. Also operating as the company class for Impulse Contemporary Co., Contemporary 4 includes exercises and combinations that deepen your personal approach to choreography. You’ll be encouraged to be intentional, experimental, and dynamic. For the safety of our students, instructor approval is required for this advanced class.

Let's break it down, fam. Old School Hip Hop is an open level class that takes us back to the heart of hip hop: community, music, and freedom of expression. After an energy-building warm-up, you'll explore classic hip hop footwork and grooves, and then you'll put it all together with feel-good choreography that's equal parts groovy, powerful, and personalized. Integrating throwback songs, this class will leave you sweaty, smiling, and humming the playlist the rest of the weekend. Class is open level and includes beginner/intermediate choreography.

Always wanted to learn hip hop but not sure how to start? Hip Hop 1 is the spot. This beginning level class explores basic moves, footwork, and grooves that stem from the many substyles of Hip Hop, including: House, Breaking, Popping, Krumping, Memphis Jookin', and more. Everyone has their own unique style, and we will encourage you to embrace that in class. In our positive, welcoming environment, you will be able to step outside the box to bring your own groove and personality to the movement, thus becoming more confident in your individuality. No dance experience needed for this class.

Groove it out with us in this beginning level class with some intermediate moves thrown in. We teach you basic grooves and approachable floorwork that stem from the many substyles of Hip Hop, including House, Breaking, Popping, Krumping, Memphis Jookin', and more. Everyone has their own unique style, and we will encourage you to explore and embrace that in class. In our positive, welcoming environment, you will be able to step outside the box to bring your own groove and personality to the movement, thus becoming more confident in your individuality. Some dance experience recommended but not required for this class.

We explore all different styles of Hip Hop with a focus on community and culture in Hip Hop. Learn techniques that stem from the many substyles of Hip Hop, including: House, Breaking, Popping, Krumping, Memphis Jookin', and more. Classes will encourage members to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality into movements. Dance experience required for this class.

This fast-paced and advanced class is all about building strength, refining agility, and honing musicality. The class features challenging technique like floorwork and basic breaking as well as quick footwork and sharp isolations. You’ll be encouraged to be experimental, bold, and unique as you tackle hip hop choreography. For the safety of our students, instructor approval is required for this advanced class.

Always wanted to move like your favorite Broadway performers or music video dancers? This class is perfect for beginners who love to spice things up with character and sass. Jazz 1 introduces movers to different styles of jazz choreography, including character, street, and contemporary. We warm up together, practice jazz technique, and then put it all together in a choreographed combo. No dance experience needed for this class.

Turn up the heat with Jazz 2, a beginning/intermediate class that expands your movement foundation. We revisit and elevate classic jazz moves, and we explore accessible leaps, turns, and isolations with choreography at the end of class. Jazz 2 inspires you to bring your fiercest, most confident self to the front. Some dance experience recommended for this class.

Refine your jazz technique and embrace high energy choreography in this intermediate class with some advanced moves thrown in. We begin class with a warm up focused on strength and flexibility and then explore turns, leaps, and extensions in center exercises. In the second half of class, we put it all together in a choreographed combo that leaves you feeling challenged and inspired. Previous dance experience is required for this class.

This advanced jazz class pushes your skills and artistry as we practice risk-taking through fast-paced choreography and strength-building technique. Warm up includes conditioning to help us execute advanced moves in center, and across the floor is an opportunity to try out exhilarating turns, leaps, extensions, and floor work. Jazz 4 combos promote musicality, agility, precision, and artistry. For the safety of our students, instructor approval is required for this advanced class.

Feel the beat in your feet in our beginning Tap class! Beginning Tap is geared towards those who are new to Tap and anyone who wants to strengthen their Tap foundation. You'll be introduced to skills that develop your musicality and balance, and you'll learn upbeat, accessible choreography that leaves you feeling energized. No dance experience needed for this class.

Our Tap 2 class is for beginner and intermediate movers. Throw on your tap shoes and join us for a class that builds musicality, balance, and agility. We'll keep you feeling challenged and inspired learning new moves and choreography. At the beginning of class, we warm up in the center and then learn new movements across the floor that will ultimately take us into exciting choreography at the end of class. Some dance experience recommended but not required for this class.

Push your tap technique to new heights in our intermediate/advanced tap class. Learn fun and intricate choreography as you challenge your mind and your feet! Tap 3 will refine your musicality, agility, and balance. At the beginning of class, we warm up in center and then learn new movements across the floor that will ultimately take us into energizing choreography at the end of class. Previous tap experience is required for this class.

All you need is a love of Broadway in our beginning level Broadway class! This class is a great fit for movers who are new to dance as well as those who enjoy a gentler class pace. Broadway dance blends character, jazz, and tap styles set to dramatic show tunes. We take our time exploring upbeat choreography and spunky characters in this playful class. No dance experience required for this beginning level class.

Our beginning/intermediate level Broadway class is a great fit for those with dance experience who enjoy a faster pace and more challenging technique. Broadway dance blends character, jazz, and tap styles set to dramatic show tunes. Broadway nerds of all kinds will find something to love in this playful, energetic class. Dance experience recommended for this beginning/intermediate class.

Similar to a Heels class, Burlesque is all about empowering performance play, individualized character creation, and steamy choreography. Cue your main character music video energy, and turn up the heat. Our beginning level Burlesque class prioritizes a celebratory and gender-expansive environment that blends jazz funk, heels, and hip hop styles. Heels footwear is welcome but not required. Note that while this class does take a body-positive approach to sultry movement, it is not a strip-tease class. Some dance experience recommended but not required for this beginning class.

Similar to a Heels class, Burlesque is all about empowering performance play, individualized character creation, and steamy choreography. Our intermediate level Burlesque class prioritizes a celebratory and gender-expansive environment that blends jazz funk, heels, and hip hop styles with a deeper focus on character and stage performance. Heels footwear is not required but highly recommended. Note that while this class may explore aspects of striptease, there is no nudity in class. Some dance experience recommended but not required for this intermediate class.

Power, presence, and expression: Heels is a confidence-driven dance technique class that welcomes movers of all kinds who want to explore this dynamic style. This open level class will teach you safe and grounded heels technique, musicality, and creative textures that you expand through choreography. Step into class and find space to fully embody your movement. This is about taking up space with intention and undeniable energy. Sturdy heels you can dance in are encouraged but always optional. No rubber-sole heels/boots. Class is open level and includes beginner/intermediate choreography.

Explore the healing and empowering nature of Twerk technique on a weekly basis. Come dance, sweat, and celebrate your body in a safe and joyful space. Each week, we learn Twerk foundations and technique, focusing on body alignment and muscle engagement to ensure safe and effective movement. We explore a variety of Twerk moves and combinations, from the basics of popping, shaking, and bouncing to dynamic, crowd-pleasing moves. We finish class by putting everything together in a high-energy Twerk dance routine that you can take with you to the dance floor. Sneakers, shorts/loose pants, and kneepads are strongly encouraged. No prior experience needed for this dance technique class. Open to all levels and backgrounds.

Dance Lab is a monthly workshop featuring guest instructors where we explore new technique and choreography. A lab is a space for experimentation, inspiration, and opportunity, so each Dance Lab class focuses on a different style or technique of dance.
