Join us for a Sultry Heels Dance Lab with Denver-based artist Dazzmin Brown on Saturday, November 9th, 2:30pm-4:00pm. This Heels class invites you to explore and embrace your sultry, sassy side with empowering movement. Dazzmin will lead us through warm up, foundational movement exercises, and a short combo towards the end of class. Heels are not required but highly encouraged. This class is open to all levels and caters more to the beginner level.
Dazzmin Brown (she/her) was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an interdisciplinary dancer who wants to demonstrate the importance of knowing dance history and where movement comes from, exploring freestyle, expressing ourselves, and healing through movement. Since she was eight years old, she has trained in various styles of dance, including: hip hop, jazz, modern, vogue, heels, contemporary, and ballet. She exudes a blend of precise yet fearless style.
In 2020, she graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, became a member of LA-based contemporary fusion dance companies, ImmaBreathe and Lume, became a member of International Association of Blacks in Dance, and became an official company member of Life/Art Dance Ensemble. Currently, she is living in Denver, still active with Life/Art, and is an active member of the ballroom scene. She has hosted workshops and sessions for the community and travels often. She also enjoys modeling, designing, and creating. Dazzmin looks forward to teaching at Impulse and sharing her art.
