Saturday, June 21st, 2:30pm & 4:15PM
Celebrate Pride and our shared love of dance with not one but two Pride Dance Labs on Saturday, June 21st, at the Impulse studio! Both classes will feature music from Queer artists and encourage you to love and accept yourself through freeing movement and an accepting community. Movers of all identities are welcome in class. Sign up for one or both using the buttons below!
We start with Femme from 2:30PM-4:00PM with Denver performer and teacher Peter INTUZI Morrissey. This sensual and cathartic class is open to all levels. Heels welcome but not required.
Next is Commercial Hip Hop from 4:15PM-5:45PM with professional dancer and choreographer Tristan Grant. Also open to all levels, Tristan’s high-energy class combines sharp movements, sass, and swag, blending classic hip hop with commercial dance styles.
Peter INTUZI Morrissey is a professional dancer and dance teacher in Denver with over ten years of experience in hip hop, heels, commercial styles, and more. Peter is honored to have a leadership role in the dance community and hopes to uplift dancers through his classes and coaching, elevating skills and creating healthy long-lasting careers for dancers.
Tristan Grant has performed as a featured dancer in Rogue Dance Company, was a featured dancer in The Difference Between Company, and has been featured in Kent Boyd and Matthew Kazierczak’s short film, “Collide in 1986.” He also has performed for contemporary ballet company Reformation Dance Company. Most recently, he was part of the “Mariner of the Seas” Production Cast with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where he performed in two productions, “Center Stage” and “Gallery of Dreams,” for two contracts. Tristan’s love for dance is evident in everything he does, and he lives and breathes all of it.
