Delsie Khadem-Ghaeini

In her all-level-friendly workshop, Delsie will lead us through Persian dance technique and stylization used in both pop and traditional dance set to upbeat music. Known for its delicate hand and arm movements, graceful body lines, and ethereal quality, Persian dance is excellent cross-training to enhance grace and focus on intricate details in any dance style. Delsie’s workshop includes a brief background and history about Persian dance.

Delsie Khadem-Ghaeini is a sought-out performer, choreographer, and dance teacher. Born in Iran and raised in Colorado, she is the co-founder of the Iranian Dance Academy, artistic Director of Delnaz Dance Ensemble, and teacher at Bella Diva World Dance in Glendale, Colorado. Delsie performs regularly, and audiences describe her artistry as authentic, graceful, passionate, and playful. Delsie has a Master’s Degree in education and 20+ years experience as an educator including experience as a guest instructor at universities and other non-profit institutions. She is known for challenging yet accessible classes.
