Emery Duet-Champagne

Emery Duet-Champagne

Contemporary and Tap Instructor

Emery Duet-Champagne began her passion for dance in a small town outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. She trained in many styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, Acro, and more for 18 years, as well as 4 years on her high school dance team that went on to compete and place at many UDA national competitions. Emery began assisting dance classes by the age of 12 and eventually began teaching private lessons to students from her hometown studio, Meta Fairburns Dance Academy.

Emery moved to Fort Collins in 2020 to work towards a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science as well as taking a few dance classes through CSU’s dance program as well. Her knowledge of health and exercise science allows for a healthier approach to the way she teaches dance and goes about injury prevention and dancer wellness.

Emery aims to share her passion and joy for dance with the Impulse students and loves to see the joy dance brings to anyone who tries it.
