Sound Bath Yoga

SUNday, March 29th, 6:30pm-8:00pm

pay what you can

Join us on Sunday evening, March 29th, from 6:30PM-8:00PM at the Impulse studio for a grounding and restorative Sound Bath Yoga session led by Impulse yoga instructor Susie Garifi and sound practitioner Lucille Harlow. Susie and Lucille will lead us through a gentle, therapeutic yoga practice with immersive sound healing to promote deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and mental, emotional, and physical healing. The session will help reduce anxiety and release tension in the body while we soak up vibrational healing energy of non-rhythmic soundscapes. No experience necessary.

Please bring a pillow and/or heavy blanket. You may also bring your own yoga mat or use those provided.

Susie Garifi is dance faculty at Colorado State University and holds an MA in Dance Education from New York University, a BA with a major in Dance from Colorado State University, and studied with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in their Independent Study Program. She carries a strong interest in the fundamental values of dance and community and strives to create productive and supportive experiences that use dance as a vehicle to form connections. Susie is also a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor and carries the values of somatic practices through all of her teaching and learning experiences.

Lucille Harlow is a performance artist and sound practitioner based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She studied percussion performance with Eric Hollenbeck and Shilo Stroman and performed under the batons of Wes Kenny and Rachel Waddell at Colorado State University. She won the CSU concerto competition in 2023, performed Keiko Abe’s Prism Rhapsody with the CSU Symphony in 2024, and has toured across the continental United States as a keyboardist. Her interest in sound baths comes from her love of endurance art and nihilism.
