Courtney Trujillo (or “Truj”) is no stranger to Impulse. She has danced with Impulse as a member, an Impulse Contemporary Co. member, and a sub since 2021. Truj has trained her whole life in multiple dance styles, including ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and gymnastics. She’s been teaching dance for 10 years, most recently as a hip hop instructor at the CSU Rec Center. Additionally, she has spent many years studying at CSU and is currently working toward her veterinary degree.

While Truj has been at Impulse, dance has consistently been a supportive space to create and collaborate. She believes that dance is in everyone, and her favorite part of teaching is seeing how we all express it differently.
